White with 1 May Challenge

Hi everyone! Well with less than an hour to spare I have my entry for this months White with 1 Challenge. The challenge was to use White + Cream + Chipboard.

The chipboard I have used is of course from A2Z Scraplets and it has been coated with some Cream Crackle Paint.

Lots of gorgeous Prima Shabby Resin Embellishements and flowers on this layout. This photo is of my old flower drawers. I um now have 6 full drawers LOL.

Some hidden journalling...

Thanks so much for looking and be sure to head on over to the WOW Embossing Powder Blog tomorrow to see my Mini Album and Coat Hanger.

Until next time....happy scrapping!

Off the Page with WOW!

Hi everyone! I just wanted to quickly share with you all a fabulous Coat/Hat Hanger that I have made for my beautiful niece's naming day this weekend. The Coat Hook was purchased raw from MDF Magic and then I have coated it with Gesso to Prime it before decorating.

The gorgeous paper covering the background is from the Spring Jubilee Collection from Pink Paislee. I have also created a Mini Album full of gorgeous photos of my baby niece with this same paper range and of course WOW Embossing Powders and you can see that on the WOW Blog here on Friday.

After the paper was adhered and dried, I have used a Tattered Angels Glimmer Screen that was the shape of a heart, to ink the surface with my Embossing ink pad. I then sprinkled over some Opaque Bright White Embossing Powder from WOW and heated. I just love using these embossing powders! They melt perfectly everytime and I am never dissapointed with the effect I get.

Embossed surfaces always act as a resist to water based sprays and inks so I have then sprayed some White Chalkboard Mist from Tattered Angels as well as some Lindys Stampgang Starburst Sprays in Cotton Candy Pink & Carpathian Bluebells. The final touches to the background was to cut in half and add this gorgeous White Imperial Flourish from ZVA Creative

After adding a couple of small clusters of flowers, I have topped off the coat hanger with a gorgeous butterfly from A2Z Scraplets. This beautiful chippie has been coated with 2 different shades of Pink Liquid Pearls swirled around before dry and then some fabulous Flourish with a Bling Pearls on the body.

The hangers themselves also got a touch of glam with some fabulous Resin Flowers from Handmade Halo and some String Pearls wrapped around. This has turned out so divine and pretty and my girls are so sad that I haven't made it for their rooms!

Thanks so much for looking and be sure to click on the links and support the fabulous businesses that I design for.

Until next time...happy scrapping!

May 123 Challenge

Hi everyone! This week I am super busy with a tonne of exciting things happening for June so stay tuned!

Checkout the current challenge over at 123 Challenge. I love these challenges and they definately help me push my limits and really think about a page more.

Checkout my entry for the May 123 Challenge. The Challenge was to use the Colour Orange, the word Enjoy & Bakers Twine.

I have used the fabulous Kaisercraft Tigerlily range for this layout.

The A2Z Scraplets Cog Chipboard were spritzed with Dylusions Ink Sprays in Pink Bubblegum & Squeezed Orange. I have then coated them with some Crackle Accents.

Checkout the fabulous Crochet Trim amongst the layers! Love these trims from Limetree Creations.

The last cog pictured here was coated with a layer of Cattail Copper Brown Lindys Stamp Gang Starburst Spray and then crackle accents added. The background was spritzed with the same Cattail Copper Brown as well as Ramblin Rose Pink. After I sprayed these on the background I have quickly tipped the page upright to let the pool drip down. After this was all dry I have dropped Squeezed Orange Dylusions Ink Spray

The Rosette Trim on the background is from the Tim Holtz Ideaology Range and I have sprayed these with Squeezed Orange & Pink Bubblegum Dylusions Ink Sprays. Also sneaking out from the cluster is some gorgeous doilies which are actually from some beautiful lace paper I have from Stampin Up. Contact my dear friend Caz here to buy all your Stampin Up goodies!

Well that's it from me today....until next time....happy scrapping!

A Bit About Paper Crafter's Library

The world of paper crafting is HUGE! Whether you are a beginner or you've been creating for years, the sheer number of different products, tools, techniques and project ideas can beoverwhelming. After spending 6 years helping thousands of paper crafter's around the world become more successful in the creative space through her series of kits, digital tutorials and online classes, Andrea Walford began looking for a new approach to education.  In 2011 she launched Paper Crafter's Library - the first, and still to this day, only website that provides an all-in-one learning solution for paper crafters. With almost 800 videos currently in their library and 4-5 new videos added each week, Paper Crafter's LIbrary offers comprehensive training on products, tools, techniques and project ideas.  From beginner through to advanced, whether your interest is in stamping, card making, scrapbooking, creating 3D items or altered art - you'll find all the resources you need to navigate the world of paper crafting in ONE place, organized and indexed so that it's quick and easy to find.

So there you have it.  Be sure to take a minute to stop by the Paper Crafter's Library blogevery day this week to check out the fantastic projects and videos tutorials created by both the Wow! Design Team and Paper Crafter's LIbrary Designers.

Helmar May Sketch Challenge

Hey everyone! Checkout the fab sketch challenge this month over on the Helmar Challenge blog here

Here is the fab sketch designed by the always fab Lydell Quinn!

And here is my take on the sketch using the gorgeous Scrap Cake One Moment in Time Collection Papers. The Helmar goodies used for this layout include my fave Scrap Dots & Permanent Adhesive Runner. 450 was used for the beaded trim :)

How cute is this beaded trim? Checkout the HUGE range of Beaded trims now available at Handmade Halo here.

All the gorgeous papers were distressed using my Inksentials Blending Tool and some Tim Holtz Frayed Burlap Distress Ink

The doiley has been spritzed with some Cotton Candy Pink Lindys Stamp Gang Starburst Spray and then inked with the same Frayed Burlap Distress Ink.

I just love these cute photos of me and my new niece. Instagram is a fabulous app that is one of my faves because even though I have my hair thrown back in a messy bun and my face without makeup and looking terrible, yet the photos with instagram seem to make me look ok haha. Plus I love the retro feel of the photos and how soft they look.

Thanks so much for looking and until next time....happy scrapping!

A Mini Album In Progress "About a Girl"

Hi everyone!!! Hoping you are all well. I have been a busy bee making various projects but I wanted to share a quick sneak peak of a current Work In Progress for WOW Embossing Powders.

How cute is this mini Canvas Album? I have had this album in my stash for a while now and I cannot remember where I got it from but you will have to wait and see the reveal on the WOW Embossing Powder Blog on the 31st May to see the pages hehehehehe. Evil aren't I? LOL

So back in March my sister in law celebrated her birthday and I promised to make her an album for her present as she became a new mummy this year for the first time. Of course this album is About a Girl and that girl is my beautiful new baby niece Aurora.

The Canvas Cover was created using the Punchinella Crafters Workshop Template and some Clear Embossing Powder after the whole surface was of course covered in Gesso. I have then sprayed the surface with Cherub Pink Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist.

The papers used on the cover are from the Cést La Vie Collection from Melissa Frances. The fabulous flowers are from Prima & Passion 4 Paper and of course the gorgeous Chipboard title is from A2Z Scraplets and was coated with some Coppertail Brown Lindys Stamp Gang Starburst Stains. The gorgeous butterfly is embossed using Bright White Opaque Embossing Powder from WOW and the Build a Butterfly Stamp Set also from WOW. The butterfly was stamped onto Patterned Paper from the Melissa Frances Collection and then some Distress Inks were added using a Ranger Inksentials Watercolour Brush.

There are also lots of beautiful pearls added from Flourish with a Bling as well as a Laser Cut Flourish. The spine of the book has had a 3 layer ribbon treatment and then adorned with some pearls. There will still be a couple more embossed additions to the front cover but I am very excited to share the entire album with you all on my Blog post on the WOW Blog on the 31st May. Be sure to head on over and become a follower so you don't miss out!

Until next time.....happy scrapping!

I have used the gorgeous Basic Grey Picadilly Collection for this layout of my CARAZZYYY Niece Kirra!

Using my Ranger Inksentials Blending Tool I have added some distressing to all the patterned papers with Brushed Corduroy Tim Holtz Distress Ink.

The paper doiley in the background has been spritzed with California Poppy Gold Lindys Stamp Gang Starburst Spray.

Here is the gorgeous 3D Sticker sheet available from the Picadilly Collection and you can view the entire collection here on the Passion 4 Paper Website. May Sketch from Purple Pumpkin

Checkout the current sketch challenge over at Purple Pumpkin! Here is what the sketch looks like....

For all the challenge details click here to visit the Purple Pumpkin Blog!!! The DT examples over there are simply breathtaking! Here is my take on the sketch...

I have used the gorgeous Spring Jubilee Collection from Pink Paislee for this layout.

There are lots of beautiful layers on this layout including paper doilies that have been misted with Lindys Stamp Gang Starburst Sprays which are available from Passion 4 Paper at only $5.95 each!!! How amazing is that price? The cheesecloth has also been misted with the Lindys Stamp Gang Starburst Sprays.

The gorgeous title from A2Z Scraplets has been misted and then a coat of Glossy Accents added. You can also see some Purple Pumpkin tickets and buttons peaking out from around the Flower clusters.

Lots of crackle accents were added to elements like the butterflies and pennants. I have also used some Pink Bakers Twine from Purple Pumpkin!

The super cute pink doilies are from a 12x12 lace paper that I got from Stampin Up!

Well there you have it! Be sure to head on over and checkout Purple Pumpkin cause their buttons and embellies are divine!!!!

Until next time....happy scrapping!!!!!
